This is a new segment I’ve been wanting to do for a while now – taking various medical and health conditions in pets and breaking them down to the bare bones. All you’re going to see here are facts, no excessive wordiness, no BS.
So as promised, everything you need to know about Colitis & Proctitis in two minutes or less.
What is it?
Colitis – inflammation of the colon
Proctitis – inflammation of the rectum
What does this mean?
These mechanisms reduce the ability of the colon to absorb water and store feces, which causes frequent diarrhea, often with mucus or blood.

This is where we come in – change your pet’s diet.
